CADIC Transfer Partner in GREECE:

Bioenersis
Bioenersis

In 2000 Enersis – ancient Greek word for development – was founded in Athens by entrepreneur P. Athanasopoulos . With an average annual turnover of 50000€ and minimal expenses, BioEnersis focuses on counseling, organizing events and training and development. In 2006 P. Athanasopoulos moved to Samos, Greece, where both he and his business learnt to survive under different circumstances and conditions. This change of location brought a new perspective on Mr Athanasopoulos’ life mentality: namely, sustainability. As a result in 2009 a new SME was founded by P. Athanasopoulos and K.Vakakis: Bioenersis - meaning sustainable development.

The owners’ wish, in developing Bioenersis, on Samos, a Greek island and their love for the area, brought to the company another business focus : that of finding new ways of sustaining not only their SME, but other islander SMEs as well. At present, BioEnersis' business activities, integrating collaborative business events with local SMEs, are being developed as services to sustain and promote Aegean small businesses and bottom-up SME cluster development.
